Giving potential theatergoers a first look at what to expect, Lionsgate has released the trailer for their new movie "One for the Money".
The film finds Katherine Heigl playing the lead role of Stephanie Plum, the popular heroine of Janet Evanovich's best-selling mystery series from which the movie is based upon.
As for the plotline, "One for the Money" finds "unemployed and newly-divorced Miss Plum landing a job at her cousin's bail-bond business, where her first assignment puts her on the trail of a wanted local cop from her romantic past."
Directed by Julie Anne Robinson, the movie also stars John Leguizamo, Jason O'Mara and Sherri Shepherd with a release date set for January 27, 2012.
